The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I'll try to post some clearer pics later, everything keeps coming out blurry.

Got it at Gander mountain, they had em on special, only 280 for the pistol, holster and a G3 cleaning kit :-o

All matching, dated 10-82, walther P1 bore looks brand new, never seen lands like that before. Gonna go try a luger on for size tomorrow and take this along, see how they all shoot

you will like this one - i bought one new in 72 , it was a very nice pistol , i got short on cash once too often , and sold it - what a shame ,

the take down is simple , the DA/SA and decocker is great , and that little pin that sticks out when there is a cartrige in the chamber is really cool in the dark or 'in your pocket' at that unfortunate moment

...the P1's are an alloy frame I think-much lighter than the WW2 P38's with the steel heavy frame....I'm glad I got mine when I did-would love another,but as most things,the prices are skyrocketing... :-?

This one has an aluminum or alloy frame. It's been so long since I've had a wartime piece, I don't remember what they were like.

Gander Monutain had a special on these, I didn't know about the ad and all the stores I called had sold out. I looked at them a couple weeks ago and they were 299.99, in the ad 279.99, I went back to the first store, they had gotten 2 and held one for me. The one I didn't buy was parkerized, this one has a parked look, but it's smoother. Can't go wrong for the price, and it shoots good too

Now I just have to decide when I'm going to take my brothers luger off his hands
