I bought this pistol when I was in high school in 1967, with original late holster. Just what every high school kid should have. Anyway, I had this gun for quite a few years. This is the gun I had in my wall locker at Fort Leonard Wood the time the Army CID suggested they look there for something else. They didn't get it. I later sold this gun in the late 1970's for what I thought then was an obscene profit, but now would seem piddling in view of the deterioration of the dollar and increase in collector interest. The majority of the holster were seen on the piece in the pictures was incurred by me. The finish on this pistol is what is called a "byf dual tone" because the barrel is blued and most of the rest of the parts have a phosphate finish. The ersatz particle board grips were mixed into production during late production.

Would be curious to know how many (or few, relatively speaking) of your hard-earned dollars you had to give for it back in `67...?
My guess is $50. Is that close?
