The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. Getting one of these in the next few weeks. Already on layaway. Good price, good condition, already have some ammo(regular and cz-subgun).
Anything a new owner/shooter should know?
I am left with a slightly weird feeling about the action, but haven't had time to get used to it at home.
I guess the question is what do you think now that you've had one for a while?

I noticed a good bit of trigger slap with mine, but it was fun to shoot otherwise.

I've heard about the firing pin issue as well. Doesn't seem to be an over-riding issue to you guys though.
Just a question for Stinkpot if you read this...what do you mean by "trigger slap"?
I've had two people tell me that it can become a tiresome piece to shoot after a few mags...they couldn't quantify this other than "shooter fatique". Is this maybe related?(just so you know, 9mm, .45 acp, ect don't "tire me out")

Trigger slap is that annoying sting you get when the sear gets re-set. To re-create this feeling with out a pistol, have someone take a rubber and and snap it on your finger tip. I had the same problem with my maadi, but I got some new parts, and those are supposed to make it better. Tapco had the rifle parts, but I was just checking there, and they have no pistol parts. I don't know enough about the CZ-52, but I would think that a person would be able to do something with 'em.

Actually got in a new lot of them, better pricing too!. $ 194 for forum members. (and I do take plastic :lol

)

I like the CZ 52 but ergonomically I like the Tok better. It is as slender as the 52 but has that "Browning Feel" Better grip angle than the 52 & a conventional mag release placement.
