Supposedly 300 made(with the Air Force Mark).
Got a good line, what can anybody say?...It's not in my books.

In original box with spare mag, cleaning rod and factory maual in Spanish and English.
For a .380 it actually fits my hand...looks like a little-bitty 1911....really, it made me smile...
I want it.
Anybody know more than I've said?

I think some were made for a South American airforce, perhaps Argentina?

It is a very handy, very well made recoil operated 380. I believe there are only about three different 380s that are recoil operated, The Star 380S. The Colt mustang, and a new polymer pistol whose name I cannot remember. Most of the rest are blowback operated and can be difficult for women to rack the slide. I was awash in them at a Kentucky gunshow about 1990, but did not know what they were at the time. Bought two 5 years later and paid through the nose.

I remember the third pistol. Kel-Tec currently makes a recoil operated 380. Supposedly LLama used to make a recoil operated 380, but everyone I have seen were blowback. I also like the Star 380 because it is just the right size for a backup. not too big or too small. They dissasemble like a 1911, but care is required in putting them back together or the internal parts will all launch forward out into space many feet.

BTW I know some men who cannot rack the slide on some blowback 380 pistols very well. Those include Astras especially the higher powered ones chambered in 9mm largo.

Said this in a PM to oldernavy, but think it relevant, as I left it out here.

The one in question I was looking at was a Spanish Air Force marked WWII era in the box w/ the manual, spare mag and rod.
Asking price was $450 before all those lovely and talented State taxes and fees.
If I don't take it, It's going up to $600.
Pretty sure I'm not gonna bite for the above mentioned reasons, but I want one that isn't so colector specific.
Long story short, not having shot one, I want it. Just not that one.
