I hear the French did not make bullets for their guns since they never shot them. :D Look for the Fountain of Youth or Elvis instead .
On the serious side, not sure if another cardridge could be altered to work.
Then maybe someone could make a 32ACP barrel for it.

According to the gospel Wikipedia the cartridge is based on the 30 Pederson and case dimensions are identical. Just the bullet is few thousandth different diameter.

I had a .32 French long of a different model many years ago.
I could shot .32 ACP in it as long as I loaded only six rounds or less and made sure the cartridges were all the way forwards in the mag so it wouldn't short stroke.

On that model at least the extractor held the rim securely as it stripped rounds from the mag. The larger dia rim of the ACP did damage the loaded chamber indicater though, it forced it upwards too far and loosened the pin hole in the frame.

Rounds for this gun are made from .32 S&W Long revolver cartridge cases, by turnung down the rim and turning an extraction groove into the base, then trimming to length.

The French Long used a heavier bullet than the ACP, around 100 grains or more. Powder charge is a bit stronger.
Power levels are higher than those of the .380, not much below light commercial 9mm P loadings. Just a hair less power than a .32/20.

I've seen the round advertised for sale on occasion, but its been years.

PS
I just remembered a trick sometimes used with these guns.
An adapter was cut from a steel case .30 Carbine casing.
.32 ACP casings were modified by turning the rim down slightly to make them a true rimless, then loaded to .32 Long specs.
When the spacer was inserted into the chamber the first round fired expanded it so it stayed in there so the shorter ACP case would headspace properly.
I'm not sure but I think they reccomended that Lock Tight be applied to the outside of the spacer before it was inserted.

It could be removed later with a broken shell extractor or a tap threaded into it and knocked out with a dowel rod.

Personally I'd go with making a few cases, the adapter sounds like more trouble than its worth and you'd still have feeding issues with the shorter case.
