While subhunter is buying up all the hand guns that I want there is a question I have. On the Mauser HSC pistols where they number matched frame and slide like the other German pistols? And if so where? I have found one that I would like to buy but I want to make sure it's correct.

The Mauser HSc doesn't have external numbers marked on several parts as some German pistols do. Some pocket-type pistols have complete or partial SN data stamped up inside the bottom of the slide back in the area under the firing pin. I have owned a couple of wartime HSc's, but I don't recall if the HSc's have slides marked in this way. I really don't think you are going to be in much danger of getting a mis-matched HSc. The pocket-type pistols didn't see the kind of service that the 9mm's did. Some of the late production HSc's had gray phosphate finish, so don't shy away from these. Just make sure they have an eagle N proof mark; most will also have a WaA135 or a police mark such as Eagle C or Eagle F (I don't remember which). The original wooden grips are kinda fragile, so look these over real good for cracks.
