Originally a .25 Beretta 418 !
But Flemming opted to change it after getting some feedback that the .25 was more of a ladies gun!

Gatsby's Got it. In "Dr. No" The cheif made him turn in his Beretta & forced the PPK on him as "that's what the CIA are carrying" The armourer comented on the beretta "Nice & light great to carry......for a lady" |
