I had contemplated getting a 45 LC for my Encore but they seem to be chambered for 410 also.

That's what I do with my Puma, unless we are hunting BIG piggies.

i like that too - had one back in the late 60s-early 70s , i could never hit anything with it but it sure was a fine piece of machining

AS long as we're talking steel 9mms, here are my 2. I carry the "practical" on a part-time basis. The target model was very limited production... I think only 2000 were imported in the 80s.

Ver y accurate & I won a few busks with it shooting bowling pins & falling plates back when I did competitive shooting on a weekly basis.

Now if I was in Belgium - like somebody who posts here ;) - I'd be over to the FN plant seeing if they have a "factory seconds" shelf of blemished guns for sale at cost! 8-) SW

**also a pic of my EBR just because I had it out. Built it from a kit**

Works out better on the long shots. I haven't had a chance to monkey around with it all that much.

The AR was a Model1 Sales kit. 16" barrel with a full length rifle handguard. I went with that configuration for truck gun purposes. Like taking shots at Wile E. out where I hunt turks. It's really handy in the truck. SW

"Still cold here" I heard a couple guys from Minn talking once... "If spring happens on a weekend this year, let's get up a ball game." :rotflma: :rotflma: :rotflma: SW

Although I like the looks of most pistols and love to shoot them every now and then I've only owned 3 pistols myself.
First one that I bought was a CZ75 followed by a Browning High Power.
Last pistol that I owned was a Browning model 10/22 manufactured by FN, Belgium in cal. 9mm Browning short / .380 automatic.
In the early 1920's the Royal Dutch Army ordered these pistols for their Military Police Units in cal. 7.65mm and designated it "Pistool M25 No. 1"
The stopping power of the cartridge wasn't enough so they changed the cal. into 9mm short / .380 automatic, using the 7.65mm barrels.
This pistol was designated "Pistool M25 No. 2"

Image

I only had this pistol for a short period of time.
After a while I sold it to a guy who collected Dutch service pistols.
I think it found a good home.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

I had one of those in 7,65 Browning (32 ACP). It was a Razi marked occupation piece. Traded it off though a while back.
