I no longer have the inclination to mess with this so I'll let it go for $15 postage.

Got it from gunborker in pure kit form - missing the frizzen. Kaintuck pointed me in the right direction for that and inletted it for me. The frizzen will be the big challenge with it - the geometry is all wrong & it will need to be hardened.

Then the ramrod pic shows how deep the barrel is. It misses the touch hole by that much and would need to be drilled to be fired. I'm not sure of bore diameter. A .600 ball free falls down the barrel so .75 cal maybe?

Or for a stock finishing project, it works well as is. Presently it's not an actual firearm.

I'll leave it up here for a few days and then off to another site if no interest. SW

looks to be something that a retired person could kill a little time with - give me a few minutes to think on it - im retired but have little to no idel time this year , im hoping to have more next year , might need such a plaything ,

thats OK - my wife informed me i have no more free time this year after being gone for a cowboy shoot for a week , what can i say ? i needed to get away , i might never have been able to tinker with it in the end - i have a couple others i need to spend time with
