The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. ....only thing I can add is that I think I recall that commercial 30.06 is "hotter " than the good old stuff for a Garand...that it could mess up the oprod...or something-unless you have an adjustable gas plug.......better czech into it first....I have some good ol' military ball ammo I'd be willing to donate if you come up short...

Definitely stay away from the hot commercial stuff. Sarco has a pretty good deal on some surplus right now.

The Greek stuff has been real good for me but is a bit hot, no problem out of my Springfield, seems they were running it through the Garande with no issues.

also check the CMP, they had some nice Greek surplus that was accurate, clean & reloadable.
