Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

My server doesn't support the software that I used to edit with. My sight hasn't changed in a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

oh come on , this is the most posting i have seen here in months, seems like the post just died off.by the way, the garand part your looking for,midway has them for $30 with wrench. that's about the only place i have seen them. Prices on garands and parts are going out of sight!

...im aware of some of the few souces of overpriced parts-which is why I inquired if anyone had one laying around at a reasonable price....if i could avoid the catalog vendors I would...was also looking for iriginal wartime one-not the newer,or adjustable ones

There is a guy in this area that does one of the local gun shows and he has 03' ,garand, M14, and all kinds of other military rifle parts, I can see if he has any if I make it to the next show. Are you lookinf for any particular marks on it or what ever turns up?
