Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

This is follow up on converting my Uzi to 40 cal. Does anyone know where I can get a barrel blank for this project??

Thats not a bad idea, I do have some 41AE barrels I could have one relined. Any suggestions as to a person who could do this?

Forgive my ignorance, but I thought the 41AE (Really if theyd called it Action Extreme It would have sold better :lol ) was bigger than the 9mm?

Would they put some sort of inset into the barrel then bore it back out to the new size?

(I'm pretty ignorant in the world of re-chambering and boring and all that whatnot)

Its funny but the 41AE is not that much different then 40S&W its just the 40 won the race! I have 3 41AE barrels so I was thinking of lining one of them. The 41 is just a bit larger then the 40 (little bit). The great part is the Uzi bolt will work on the 9, 40, and the 41AE. If I ever found 41AE loaded (I have the components) I could shoot all three with only a barrel change.

I have 9mm barrels but we shoot 40 for work so if the Uzi shoots as well with the 40 as the 9 I might be able to carry the Uzi in the trunk when working! I have found a company that makes a new Uzi barrel in 40 at a shipped cost of about 200.00. I'm not sure of the cost of a reline?
