The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. I've recently developed an interest in these specific lever guns. I'm looking for basically any marlin that was made before rem took over. Also I don't want Wal-Mart, or anyother store models (sears, etc.) and .3030 only please.

I recently found a 336 rc that looked great until I put a light down the barrel

. I live in NH where it is perfectly legal for me to purchase firearms and have them shipped to a FFL dealer. You probably also have to live in a state that allows you to do such a transaction.

So if someone has what I am looking for please send me a pm or something and I will reply.

I have 2 or 3 in 30-30 made before the crappy safety. I collected Marlins for 30+ years and have a variety. I'm playing trains in Wyo right now but will get a few pics when I get back tomorrow. SW

Well, I lied. :-(

I just rooted through the 'stuff I would actually sell' pile and only found 3 336. A 35 Rem - 32 Spl and one 30-30. Which, unfortunately is a house brand gun, marked for the Cotter & Co Hardware chain.

Made in 1969, it won't make the C&R team. A divot near the toe of the stock - otherwise it's VG cond. Here's the pics anyway in case someone else is after a 30-30. $275 shipped.
