Steve have you thought about "broomhandle grips" and either modify them or use as a pattern to make new grips? I've got a couple of pairs if that will work. |

They don't look as if they'd be hard to make with hand tools, well, except for the checkering. I have several grips from box lots at auctions, but I don't think there are any that could be adapted to suit. I'll look (un-pile crap in shop, look in every box, especially ones labeled 'nails & electrical stuff' ... you wouldn't expect to find these in a box marked 'grips' would you?; re-pile crap in shop) and if I find anything that might suit, I'll PM you. There have been several flare guns in a number of recent auctions but I wasn't interested so never noted what they went for or even what make ... I suspect most were British or American. |
