The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. as some know last spring i traded noe of my prised rifles , my remington M1917 , it went to a military competition shooter and the sling went with it , but as he was not a collector the bayonet , scabord , and nickle oiler/pullthru buttrap kit stayed here , im finaly accepting its of no use to me and parting with this bunch -

remington M1917 bayonet , later 'M3 type' M1917 scabbord , nickle oiler/pull thru cleaning kit , im looking for $200 shipped , lower 48 [chip id discuss it if you wanted it] and i will throw in the M1-carbine oiler , its IS marked and parkeriseed finish ,

the oiler is the early one for the M1903/A1/A3 and M1917 rifles complete with the leather tip insert to prevent rattle in the buttrap and the scales of the bayonet are as near perfect as any ive ever had - but scabbord needs a coat of OD for the pristine seekers [i liked it as is]

If you still have it after the 1st of the year I would really be interested. My 1917 is mostly Eddystone but I am not so pure. I get my holiday overtime paycheck the 31st/1st.

if no one claims it i shall speak to you then , the eddystone would be quite comfortable with a remington bayonet , they did not make the bayonets themselves , there were only two mfgrs - winchester and remington for the M1917 bayonet ,
