Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Some dummy who looks a lot like me got carried away buying reloading stuff for 577/450 & the belt fed fund took a big hit. Time to sell a few things I never shoot.

Like this Hoban Boy's rifle. 22 single shot. VG bore. Sound stock except some junior artisan tried to hand checker it with something like a boy scout knife. Doesn't affect function. Most of the "checkering" can be seen. Little original metal finish remains. I rubbed some BLO on the stock as it was quite dry.

I have shot it 3 times ( count 'em, three!) & no issues. $75 shipped. More pics on request. This was made in the late 40's per Doc Sharptail's research so a C&R transfer will be legal. SW

**the Carcano cavalry moschetto which is shown for size perspective is not included! ;) **

Neat little rifle. I'd like to know more about these.
A couple of months back I downloaded scans of Golden Age comic books, in public domain, and saw these rifles advertised as prizes for selling various mail order products.
I've been wondering what one looked like in a good photo, the drawings in the ads don't do them justice.
