WTS Swedish Rolling Block Sporter

Nice condition all matching numbers 8X58R Swedish Rolling Block made on a Remington receiver sporterized by the Swedish Military for commercial sales.

This model rolling block is probably one of the finest built for the Swedish Military, they' were proofed for smokeless powder around 1889, and had new heat-treated breechblocks and hammers installed, improved pivoting extractor, and firing pin retractor built into the breechblock. The receivers were also re-heat treated.

Lyman 48S “Target Knob 106 MOA rear sight.

Beautiful tiger striped raised comb buttstock.

Trigger breaks at 2 lbs.

Bore is Very Good ++ and it shoots under 2” at 100 yards with Lee 206 grain Gas Checked LLA lubed M95 Steyr .329 bullet sized to .327” in PRVI 8X56R brass and 24 grains of SR4759.
