The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. A.K.A. Zeliard's annual Begging for Information Update. :)

Hello all,

A new clip marking has been found!
It's an L within a circle. The only problem is that I don't know who made it.

I'm starting to think the L in circle may be Lignose A.-G., Berlin, Germany. I'm basing this on a much more cursive L found on pinfire headstamps.

Seems like Lorenz was likely sold before this ammunition was made and he went on to Daimler so I don't think it was Lorenz Patronenfabrik, Karlsruhe, Germany.

It's also possible that it's Lindener Zündhütchen-und Thonwarenfabrik, Hannover, Germany.

If anyone has any more information please let me know.
Here's the latest version of the clip markings list:

I'm also going to track down more information on the Geo Hopkins & Co clip, to see if that's who actually made it.

The L in circle mark has been confirmed to be Ludwig Loewe, which later became DWM.

Glad to be of assistance. I had just about thought that no new ones were going to be found when it popped up on another forum.

Still not sure about the GH being Geo. Hopkins & Co., no information to be found it seems.
