Don, Thanks, but I don't think we are on the same page. The photos look like 1.15 x 58R Spanish Remington. I should have been more specific. I was looking for the 8x56R drawings for the M95 Steyr cartridge. Greg |

Thanks for posting these- John Donnelleys ( The Manual of Cartridges Conversions) drawings leave a lot to be desired occasionally, they are not exact and there are a few errors but it is an excellent source- Ken Howell (Custom Cartridges) are much more exact but pretty sterile other wise compared to Donnelleys included notes and suggestions. Both should be used with Barnes ( Cartridges of the World) but Barnes reloading suggestions should be used only as a last resort and with much caution. If I had to choose between Donnelleys and Howells I would choose Donnelleys because "buy factory brass" just dose not always cut it in a pinch. |
