Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

I don't think I've ever seen one this nice. Thanks for the pics. I didn't remember the handguard being made in two pieces, but I haven't owned one for 40 years.

What about the German acceptance stamps? Are these thought to be fake? The WaA63 Waffenamt mark with that eagle style was used at Brno (Brunn) in central Moravia, which is now part of the Czech Republic. According to my references, this mark was used from 1943-45. At least I think what the pictures show is a 63.

That was a one time only thing. I brought two guns to the range that day and most of the ammo was for that. I wonder if one of those rubber boots like they have for the garand or 03 would help? I got something like 800 rounds of ammo for it.
