I don't think I've ever seen one this nice. Thanks for the pics. I didn't remember the handguard being made in two pieces, but I haven't owned one for 40 years. What about the German acceptance stamps? Are these thought to be fake? The WaA63 Waffenamt mark with that eagle style was used at Brno (Brunn) in central Moravia, which is now part of the Czech Republic. According to my references, this mark was used from 1943-45. At least I think what the pictures show is a 63. |

Your tougher then me. If it kicks like my 8mm Carcano's then I may get off 5 rounds and move on to something lighter and wimpier

That was a one time only thing. I brought two guns to the range that day and most of the ammo was for that. I wonder if one of those rubber boots like they have for the garand or 03 would help? I got something like 800 rounds of ammo for it. |
