Post subject: 1917 dated 8 X 50R Budapest M95 carbine

A couple of months ago, back in early June of this year, while the old boards were still up and running, I picked up a 3-fer of M95's from one of the guys on the C&R FFL email list. I made mention of the acquisition on the old list and promised Yockey to post some photo's. Well............... the best laid plans of.... you know, go wrong.

The 3 items acquired were:

1917 M95 Budapest still in 8 X 50R
Steyr M95/30
Hungarian 31.M Puska Mannlicher carbine

I finally was able to take photo's of one of the carbines today, the 1917 dated M95 Budapest. Serial # 4452R, still in the original 8 X 50R caliber, so it escaped conversion and bears no import marks.

I'll try and get the others cleaned up and photographed (hopefully) within the next week.
