I would like to buy a swiss K31. Does anyone know a good place to look for one on the internet? The pawn shops around here dont have any. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. I dont know too much about the K31 so maybe a what to look for would be nice. Thank you. Eli. Milsurps Rule!!

The various Cabelas stores have had a quantity on hand. In Sidney, Nebr, they started out @ $300+ but are down to a more realistic price now. The stocks looked pretty beat, but they should be good shooters.

You can check online to see if an outlet near you has some in stock. SW

What to 'look' for in K31's would be the earlier walnut stocks, with the less dings the better. If you are into it the wartime years. Haven't seen one with a bad bore yet, but have seen varying external conditions. GP-11 (surplus) ammo is all considered 'match grade' and non corrosive. Even though it is berdan primed, save the brass. There are many people who would pay or trade you for it.

Check your local gunshows, they always seem to show up there. And when you get yours, dont forget to pull the buttplate and see if the little card with the info of the last guy the gun was issued to is under there!

There were recently imported a batch of 1911 and 96/11 long rifles and some K-11's as well. Prices were pretty good. These would be more desirable (for collectors) than the K31. I love the long graceful lines of the 1911 or 96/11 and prefer the bolt operation over the K31. Do note however that the K31 will be more accurate than the K11 (it has 2" longer barrel)

Thanks for the info guys. I would like to get the most accurate swiss rifle. Would that be the 96/11 or the k31 or another one? Me and my shootin buddy have competitions and he has been beating me lately, dangit. I need something more accurate than my mosin. Thabks again, Eli.

I like the K31 but the 1911 (96/11) shoots better for me. Longer sight radius I guess.

mine did not have cards - but they had passed through hands before me ,

I almost bought one this past weekend, for 350 but opted for the fn 1910 pistol for 200. Still looking for a K31 though thanks for the info!!

SOG Has some swiss rifles right now, get them while you still can.

Happen to have a Walnut stocked, all matching, troop tag attached K-31 for sale. Drop me a message if interested. Don't quite have 10 posts yet, but I'm working on it.
