Yesterday's Weapons Forums

I bought some Warne 7.3 rings to put a scope on my K31. .they come with those darn lugs for a grooved mount and say to remove them for a dovetail. Is there a trick to getting those out without chingering up the ring? Obviously there must be, I just don't know how....they are in there so tight, no hint of movement.

Where there is a will....there is a way.....took me a bit of looking around the garage and thinking "what would Macgyver do" but by God I got it....with nary a scratch! Damn thing had me baffled. I would think it would have come out fairly easy but it would not move, it was like it was pressed in there. This probably sounds pretty stupid to you guys but I'm quite proud of myself.....especially since my boyfriend couldn't get it out either

Good job! I've never seen those kind of rings and couldn't help. I use a clamp on base and extended eye relief scope on my K31. SW

did you get the Swiss Products mount? That's what I got and I love it.....I wish they had something like that I could use for the Swede....or do they? I'd like to scope that but I won't drill or alter it.
On my way to the begun show in Brule....I'll try to use restraint.

I have a St. Marie Graphics mount. With Cheap rings & equally cheap 4X scope. That thing is dead nuts accurate. The rubber eye piece gives the optimum eye relief (although it looks ugly). With the Buergin Device, that K31 is a lefty' s dream

ET...that's quite the device there!! If you aren't left handed you don't think much about what a PIA that could be! I did get the scope mounted....just waiting for decent weather...I put an old Weaver KV on and hope to try my hand a some club shoots this summer, they're talking about doing some 300 yarders.

Hey Hogger....when are you passing thru the show? I'll be working the raffle table inside Sat. Afternoon and Sun. morning...went to Brule yesterday, it was packed, prices high....walked out with 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies
