Picked this up in May 2006 for under $200, bubba had converted it to a muzzle loader. At first I wasn't sure if it was worth it but figured if nothing else the parts were a steal.

Once I got her home I completely disassembled the rifle and started the inspection. When I got to the plugged barrel I noticed the plug wasn't welded and maybe there was a chance of saving her. Anyway take a look at the pics.

She is a 100% functional Stutzer again!

Target at 100 yards first time out. That double set trigger is touchy!

It's been converted to centerfire, Pete hooked me up with a bunch of brass from Thun.

good rebuild!......if i ever come across a original at a steal~i will pick her up. triple 7 works great in the center-fire converson of these....just ask nebhogger! :grin:
