Found a Mauser DOU 44 marked rifle , all matching, late production cause the hand guard and outside of the stock are not numbered, its not cut and its not import marked, i would rate it at about 90% condition, I can't seem to find any realistic comparatives, anyone know what these are fetching these days? |

If it is truly all matching and no renumbering, it would probably be in the $1400 to $2000 range. If the bolt has been renumbered it will be at a $1000 max. One way to check for sanding on the stock is it should have sharp corners on the bolt cutout and cartouches should be clear. A sanded stock will put it with the bolt M/M range. The knowledgeable people are on the K98 forum on Gunboards. Rad |

Well the stock is a late production stock correct to the rifle but the info i found on line said there would not be any inspectors marks on the stock, the only marks are the SN in the stockunder the barrel. Everything is original numbers , no renumber or forced match. |
