i'm going to slug my 1891 argentine mauser today ,i might even get the cerrosafe out and cast it
dunno yet what did yours slug too ?

I haven't slugged mine. I have fired jacketed 311-312 and have shot cast .314's through mine. Accurate bugger! |

good to hear you have a good shoooter Et2ss hope mine does the same. i do cast a variety of cals so a bullet of say .311-----.314 dia would not be a problem for me to cast, ( i have numerous molds of differing wght/dia ,) so if my 1891 is as yours i'm a happy caster. thanks for the info, adrians,,,,

just slugged it and it is .311.5 +/- ,so i am good to go .
