I never see these around here and I have never seen one in this condition with no import marks so I had to have it. Not a lot of info about them out there.

What model is it? Is it all matching? Looks better than the M49 that I have.

Military Mauser forum on Gunboards has some knowledgeable people on it.

Its a model 49 I beleive, made in Iran, completely matching, probably impossable for me to improve on. I almost dont want to shoot it. it shoulders very well, light weight.

The reason I wondered what model it is is because the band spring on mine is like a K98 the holds both bands. And it also has the Czech recoil lug. The stock looks like a M30 that has been modified. What holds the rear band?
