Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

This is some kind of unit marking and it's anybody's guess as to when or where it was applied. Of course the question is, does anyone here by chance know what it signifies?

This rifle has the rampant lion partially scrubbed off the receiver. Date is 4-39. Seems like it was started before the German neighbors took over in 3-39. No Nazi markings. What forces typically were equipped with these rifles in WW2?

This VZ-24 is much like the dou 41 G-24(t) that I had many years ago, except the latter had the German muzzle design on the barrel. This VZ-24 has the front sight sleeved onto the muzzle.
