Picked this up yesterday. It has been shortened to a 'musketoon' length. Doesn't look like your normal Bubba job either. Unfortunately it is missing the handguard. Bore looks nice though |

Looks like you got an Interarms "Mannlicher Sporter" I had one back in the 70's - it shot well. Mine lacked a handguard too,I think Sam Cummings thought that was part of being a sporter .Ah nostalgia!-TR |

Looked in my old American Rifleman collection in 1964 the issue M91s sold for $19.95 in Exc. and the sporters were $24.95. Sigh..-TR |

That's a sweet looking little '91 sporter. Bet it shoots good also. I have one I picked up last year. Very accurate, but kicks like a mule. A real pain in the a- um shoulder to shoot. I got some cast bullets the other day to load up and try in it for some reduced recoil loads. |

Meister, You have a "Mannlicher Sporter" too? I have never seen one done up like this, that's kind of why I grabbed it. |
