The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Got a few rifles at an on-line estate sale a few weeks back and they finally arrived. This one is a fairly nice, Spanish FR-8 rifles--an M43 98 Mauser, converted to .308 by the Spanish government Still has the "La Coruna" crest on the ring and is dated 1955.

Metal is in excellent shape, wood is very good, with a few rubbed spots.

Got a chance to shoot some new guns at the range today. The FR-8 shot the group at the top of the target.

The one I have has a small repair on the heel.

Nice rifle and good groups. The first FR 8 that I saw at a gun show was only $185 and I was broke.
