The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. I saw a decent looking one at a shop 2 weeks ago. I can't remember the price, somewhere around 275-375. I've been thinking about going back to see if it's still there. Is that a good price? The crest was ground, the finish was nice, I can't remember if I looked at teh bore or not, there were so many that I looked at that day. So, is that a good price?

Well, I saw it 2 weeks ago...it looked to be in military configuration, it had the long handguard, no pitting, the stock wasn't dinged up. I never opened the bolt though, I saw a K31 next to it and went for that. Overall from what I can recall, the blueing was still good. I didn't look close enough to see if it had been refinished.

I have next thursday off. I was thinking about heading back down there to take another look. but it depends on my car, if I just need a serp belt I'm ok, a new alternator is another thing

Might be awhile, it cost me more to get my car fixed than I thought it would
