The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. Finally received the transitional GEW 98 from the auction house. Bore is great. Not sure what the proof marks mean

Took the GEW 98 apart and found all kinds of proof marks on the metal and a flaming bomb cartouche on the stock. No pitting under the wood. Any help interpreting the proof's would be appreciated.
