Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

.22 rimfire cartridges with heavy bullet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the guns how recently, I found some .22 shells made by Aguila of Mexico that have a 60 grain bullet. The case is the same length as a .22 short to accommodate the extra material needed for the bullet. Most .22's have a 40 grain bullet. The box states that these are sub-sonic and ultra accurate.

I bought a brick of these last year at Cabelas in Sidney - they are VERY accurate from my Marlin 7000T. Quiet, too! SW

Yes, but I only bought one box. I want to try them out.

As I have harped in the past, sub-sonic will one day be a valuable characteristic as shooting areas dry up and we have to do it more on the sly to avoid attracting attention. Even out in the wide-open spaces, more and more land is being fenced in.
