A punch for the primer and a pair of pliers. Check out this Libyan rebel reloading 6.5 Carcano misfires. Punch out & replace old primer - add powder by 'calibrated eyeball' pull, neck size, seat & crimp bullet with a pair of cheep pliers. Is that enough to curl your hair or what? This is kinda long - 11 minutes -and in Arabic, but it shows what can be done with minimal equipment. and the shooter & rifle still survive! What carelessness! Ammo tossed in the dirt - bolt forced over a round instead of from a clip. ( Carcanos use a controlled feed system) and he blazes away with no apparent ill effect. The fighting in Libya continues. Allahu Akbar! SW |

I guess I'll have to get a nice hose clamp in case my front guard screw ever breaks. We always said the Carcano action was plenty strong! Wes |
