Why dose the steel 3 die set not come with a bullet seating stem. After looking at every 1 on ebay i see only the carbine 1 comes with the seater stem. The steel ones don't and you have to get the acc. pack #09690.Dose this mean you can seat a round nose in the seat die with no stem?? Thats how it is looking to me,or the dies would not be usable as they come from the factory. I have sold a set and the buyer saids something is missing but every 1 i see don't have the stems with them unless there carbine.WHAT GIVES HERE??? |

do they seat the bullet by the ogive? It kind of makes sense as the over all length would be critical on a rifle but not so much on a pistol. Lots of lead before the rifling on a pistol |

It is the #1 sizer die and not seater that that is missing the part but I have a carbide die the I use for the max that will size the magnum without any adjustment. The stem is in the seater die but would make it hard to seat a wadcutter type though but I don,t plan on that type of bullet. Do not worry about finding any parts. Rad |
