i have a freind who does , but i tend to collect the rifles and bayos then shoot the cartriges ,

i have a few tho for my rifles , including a bunch of 30-40 krag paper bullit gallery rounds if you would like one or two e-mail me ill send them to you ,
might have a few others as well id be happy to send you ,

I used to be into cartridge collecting quite a bit. But now (except for a few above my workbench) they mostly reside in a few cigar boxes.

I've enjoyed looking and reading on this post. I have cartridges for every rifle and some that I don't have rifles for but don't consider myself a cartridge collector - maybe I am an ammo collector. Bought a whole bunch of out dated commercial ammo when a Hardware store was getting rid of it. I enjoy looking at it. riceone

Recently, I saw one of these hanging on the wall of the Huntington store in Oroville, Calif. (next door to the RCBS plant). This is the 1897 version of the Winchester cartridge board. I stood there and stared at it for some minutes, looking at all kinds of obsolete cartridges that I had never heard of or seen before.

neet , i havent seen one of those in years , but i know where there are some - in the basement of a very old hardware store - pretty much immpossible to pry anything away from the owners

That's a cool board, just wish I had the cash to buy one of those. They cost more than some old winchesters
