Fellows, just a comment about IMR 4320. Don't overlook this propellant for milsurp uses. It seems to be somewhat neglected in contemporary times. I've used it very successfully over the years in 8mm Mauser, .30-06 (it's the slowest IMR powder still suitable for loading for the M-1 rifle), and others. I've even used it with fine accuracy in .223 Rem. This is a wonderful powder for metering through a powder measure - no crunch factor.

I use the 50 grains of 4350, but use the Hornady 205 grain .330" bullets available from Graf And Sons.

Gandog56, your bullets are similar enough that the data I listed is interchangeable. I like the Hornady 205 grain jacketed bullet myself, but they have gotten expensive. I've got a few hundred of them stashed away.

One of the nice things about the slow burners (like 4350) is that it's almost impossible to get an overcharge of it into a typical small arms milsurp case.

Also lessens the recoil a bit.
