I was checking Steve's pages on loads for a 6.5-284 and there is two different loadings. One for Winchester and one for Norma, the max load for the win is only about 1.5 gr above the starting load of the Norma. I loaded one with 45 gr of IMR 4831 and left a lot of space in the case and that is over a grain under max for the win in my manual. Is this because the bullet would have to be seated much deeper in the win rifle? Rad |
