The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. I usually load 205 grain bullets for my Steyr M95. Got a hold of some 150 grain SP's and gave them a try.
150 Grain JSP
35.0 Grains IMR 4895
Win LR primer

I am hesitant to share my exact load tests, and I don't have them handy right now anway, but for those experienced re-loaders who know how to read pressure signs I would suggest trying the 8x56R with IMR3031. All I will say is that the velocity I was getting out of my little carbine with 150gr loads was right up there with any 30-06 or 8x57 I've ever seen. Quite the power in that tiny lightweight little rifle. One of these days I hope to make it a fun conversation piece hunting rifle. FYI - The bear I shot was a small sow but the bullet entered the face, rode along the skull, into the neck, along the spine, then into the spine, then out the other side and lodged in the neck meat when it ran out of steam. Over 18" of inside travel. And that was with a LIGHT hunting load I was using clocked at about 2500fps. I did not intend for a head shot but in the heat of the moment those darn military sights got me. Just what is a schritten anyway?

I still think I do a bit better with the 205 grainers. But I have no pics of any targets I shot with them.
