We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Hello all.

One of the members of our gun club bought himself a sporterized Dutch M95 carbine.
He didn't have the die set yet, so I reformed a couple of cases and reloaded them for him so he could shoot.
He gave me some Greek HXP cases in cal .303 British.
No problem at all reforming these to 6.5.
Just lube the .303 case very well and push through the 6.5x53.5R die once.
Trim the case back to 53.45mm and reload.
Here's the result.

Ready to go to the range.

Left: Reformed and reloaded Greek HXP case
Center: .303 British parent case manufactured by Prvi Partizan (notice the difference around the rim compared to the HXP case)
Right: 160gn cast boolit

Powder used is 13.8gn VihtaVuori N110 (reduced load).

I'll let you all know how this cartridge performed on the range.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin

As promised a range report on the sporterized Dutch M95 carbine.
First I have to mention that I made the ammo using the specifications of the ammo used in my M95 rifle.
I made 20 cartridges and with 2 of them the bolt of my rifle wouldn’t close.
I marked those 2 and was very surprised that the bolt of the M95 carbine closed with no problems at all.
All cartridges fired but lots of the bullets made holes shaped like a keyhole on the targets.

I asked the owner to check and measure the bore.
Maybe the .266 cast boolit I use can’t be used in his M95 carbine or the reduced load (13.8gn of VihtaVuori N110) isn’t enough to stabilize the boolit in the shorter carbine barrel.

Any suggestions or solutions for this problem are most welcome.
Well…..at least the owner has 20 cases that he can reload himself now.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Martin
