RWS ist Reinisch Westfalische Sprengstoffwerke. GmbH. a very old company.
They make sehr gut munitons. Usually rather expensive unless what you have is old and corrosive. They are located in Stadeln near Nuremburg so it is in Bavaria, Germany. I believe it has been like West Germany if it is not part of it. I remember RWS sinoxid primers which are still made, are non corrosive and highly sought after. I do not know how long they have been making non corrosives, but at least since maybe the 70s and maybe much earlier. If it really is cheap and non corrosive grab it and run before he has a lucid moment.

Asquare,
I did a little more research. RWS has been making non corrosive primers since the 20's first in sporting ammo and some military. Hopefully almost all they make since or before WWII is non corrosive. Supposedly they made some primers for 8x56R and if it was made in 1938 is nmnc. ???

Last RWS I shot was hot ammo. You want your 20# spring the the High Power. Good stuff, though. SW
