I was flipping thru the latest handloader mag they had an article on the judge (45 lc 410) revolver and mentions a load tried by
another writer using 4 or 5 30 cal lead splitshots joined by a copper wire loaded like a buckshot round in a 410 case.
intresting maybe one of you fellas with one of those beastly little revolvers might like to try that load and give a report

If someone had a skunky or freezer burned roast thawed out, that would be the test medium.

Back in the days of wooden ships & iron men, it was called "chain shot" and was used to tear up the enemy's rigging. Pretty much turned a canvas sail into confetti.

Still, at self defense distances, a regular load of shot is no slouch! SW

i think - im not sure - but if memory serves at all [once in a while i get it right] if you shoot in self defense it will be far easier to defend your action if you use a standard round - whatever that might be , out of the box , any attempt to inflict undue injury could work against you in court ,

that said - i think tearing up the sails might be just what the doctor ordered for a criminal needing defense from
