....I've tried a couple times and gotten"close" enough that I had to do only a few taps on the sight to get it acceptable.....i just mounted the rifle in a secure fashion and took the bolt ou and sighted down the hole at a distant object at least 100 yards away.....painstaking-but worked......I just saw however on the latest Sportsman's Guide,there is a laser boresite in the shape of the bullet that you load as you normally would-didnt look at all the info on it since I dont need one,but it said it projects a red laser dot of 2" in diameter at 100 yards.....that might help... |

i kinda want one of those in 3006 , and 308 , and 223 , and 30 carbine , and 22lr and , and , and well you get the idea , so how exactly do i justify this again ? |

I have a BSA bore sighter from Midway. The guy next door saw me use it and wanted to know if it would work on iron sights. Didn't know said I would ask. I like the idea of the laser. just wish one size fit all. Like you A square 10 I would need 308,30/06 7 MM, 8 MM, well you get the idea and my pocketbook isn't that thick. survivalist |
