I haven't but many others have. What kind of crack or severity thereof & location? There may be neater/easier ways of fixing it.

Works like a charm! It's essentially a form of epoxy glue. Latelly I've been using gorilla glue, though. SW

Acraglass is best used as a bedding filler. Though strong; if you plan to use it only to fill a crack, it may not do the job. It will add strength to the area if you remove wood and replace it with a layered thickness of Acraglass. It is used on the inside where you cant see.Not for the outside.

....what I'm hoping to do is to strengthen and stop a crack in a hanguard AND a stock....and it would be from the inside...I finally lucked out and came across a REAL DEAL-CHEEEEP :-o ...on a Finn M91,all matching,no EP...built on all TULA parts :-o ...1898 reciever...but the stock had cracked(before I got it)behind the recoil lug(seems very solid though... :-o )...the hanguard is a minor thing an not too worried about that....I wouldnt use Gorilla glue-I've used that before for 'other stuff'...its very strong but is messy and expands like the dickens... ...I'm aware I'd need to degrease the wood somehow...the stock crack would be rough....see pics...I just want it to keep from spreading if I shoot it...

Try CA glue. Thw water thin stuff will penetrate the crack nicely from the inside. It also isn't affected by grease so it should get in that crack nicely. After glueing, wrap the stock tightly in surgical tubing to act a s a 'clamp'.

Acraglass would work on the stock crack, you would remove about a tenth of an inch if wood in that mag well and layer it with Acraglass. I would use a thin penetrating glue for the hand guard. If the handguard crack is also on the inside, you could strengthen that too with Acraglass. Acraglass is basically like the two part apoxies you see in the syringe tubes but is a little thicker so it is less likely to drip.(It still does) If you insert the receiver into the stock as it hardens, you have to make sure the metal has been treated with release agent, and that the Acraglass doesn't work it's way into spots that will prevent taking the barreled action out. (Tape fills holes and notches...)

The handguard can also be reinforced from the inside with a piece of thin wood or heavy paper (if there is room) or with a scrap of silk laid in & doused with the CA
