| Post subject: | Great Great Grandfathers Shotgun |
This is the J.N.Scotts Shotgun that my GG Grandfather carried in the Civil War. He gave it to a neighbor in his outfit when he was wounded and told him to get away before he was captured too. After the the war he when he returned home from prison he got the shotgun back from the neighbor.

i love that, once had one that vintage, almost. it got destroyed in the house fire, it was promised to me extreme heat does terrible things to a pair of damascus barrels.
