http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... h-Sea.html U-110 was rammed and sunk off England in 1918 and raised not long after. The plan was to refurb it so it could return to service for the Brits. The war ended, however and it was cut up for scrap. The pics show a very cramped environment. No wonder they were called "pig boats"! SW |
