.....posted thes waaaaay back on old forum I think,but have long since disappeared........obviously WW1-but no one in the family on her side knew much about his service.....actually the only way I knew it was him was because I came across pics of her dad on leave after bootcamp next to him...a lil' older....a lil fatter-but still definately him....if I had a scanner I'd post that pic side by side so you could see..........ANOTHER fella I wish I could've talked too...
....anyway,here's the shots....looks like a P17 to me-and when I zoom in on his ammo belt,I see I've got one the exact same type!!!....a Mills-patented in '06 and 1915.......dunno what the insignia on his shoulder is of in the 1st studio pic...
