He was Seaman Willian Evan Allen, He served onboard the H.M.A.S. Encounter , he went to sea at age 14. Mr. Evans died Monday night in Sydney Australia. If I had been thinking at all, I could have attended a meeting, taken notes and scored a good grade in history class... And preserved some, too.
