Honoring Veterans..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Special thanks to all veterans of all wars who gave the supreme sacrafice, or suffered to defend our freedoms. Thank you to all vets who served and were blessed enough to return. Special thoughts to the WW1 vets;who this day 11-11 was specially designated.
Thank you veterans!

WWI Helmet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a WWI helmet doughboy type in camo. it has my uncles mame and rank painted in it also 1917-1918 and his unit if i remember correctly. This is in excellent condition with the lleather liner and straps, seems one of the straps is broken. Does any one know howmuch it is worth or how i could find it value?

trrusman, you can watch for one on ebay, but they are not often seen. While I don't want to hazard a guess as to value, I will say that what you have is very collectable.

.....this might get you started...I went to Google and all I did was type in "WW1 helmet value"-granted it came up with German, but they have that "find an appraiser " link....or just hunt around some more.....I came up with many sites that should help...
